Offmatch - Terms and Conditions
1. About OffMatch
OffMatch is a subscription platform that enables football content creators to publish and monetise premium content, and allows subscribers to access that content. OffMatch is operated by Offpitch, Unipessoal Lda, a company registered in Portugal.
By using OffMatch, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use OffMatch. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Creators must ensure they have the legal right to publish all content they upload to OffMatch.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. OffMatch is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering. You may not create accounts for others without their permission.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscriber Subscriptions
OffMatch offers two subscription types:
- OffMatch Pass (platform-wide): A single subscription giving access to content from all creators on the platform. Priced at £10.99/month.
- Direct Creator Subscriptions: Subscribe directly to an individual creator. Pricing set by each creator.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price change. Your continued use of the platform after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
5. Creator Terms
Revenue Splits
- OffMatch Pass: Creators receive 65% of the revenue pool, distributed based on engagement metrics (read time, reactions, reposts, shares). OffMatch retains 35%.
- Direct Subscriptions: Creators receive 90% of subscription revenue. OffMatch retains 10%.
Payouts
Creator payouts are made monthly via Stripe Connect. Creators are responsible for connecting their own Stripe account and for all tax obligations arising from their earnings on OffMatch.
Content Standards
Creators are solely responsible for the content they publish. Content must not:
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Be defamatory, abusive, harassing, or threatening
- Contain misinformation presented as fact
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
OffMatch reserves the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate accounts accordingly.
Prohibited Regions
Creators based in countries subject to international sanctions (including but not limited to Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Belarus) are not permitted to use OffMatch or receive payouts. This is enforced in part by Stripe's own compliance systems.
6. Intellectual Property
Creators retain full ownership of the content they publish on OffMatch. By publishing content on OffMatch, creators grant OffMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content to subscribers on the platform.
OffMatch's branding, design, and technology are the property of Offpitch, Unipessoal Lda and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use OffMatch for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without authorisation
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Attempt to circumvent payment systems or manipulate creator earnings metrics
8. Platform Availability
We aim to keep OffMatch available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the platform (or any part of it) with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OffMatch is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of revenue or data arising from use of the platform
- Content published by creators
OffMatch's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to OffMatch in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Porto, Portugal, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of OffMatch after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
