Offmatch - Privacy policy
1. Who We Are
OffMatch is a subscription platform for football content creators and fans. It is operated by Offpitch, Unipessoal Lda, a company registered in Portugal.

2. What Data We Collect
Subscribers
- Name and email address (when you register)
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)
- Content you engage with on the platform (read time, reactions, reposts, shares) — used solely to distribute revenue to creators
Creators
- Name, email address, and profile information
- Stripe account details (for payouts)
- Content you publish on the platform
All Users
- IP address and general location (country/city level)
- Device type and browser
- Pages visited and time spent on the platform
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the OffMatch platform
- Process payments and payouts via Stripe
- Calculate creator revenue distribution based on engagement metrics
- Send you important account and service updates
- Respond to your support requests
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
4. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. All analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. No consent banner is required for Plausible.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other cookie-based tracking tool.
5. Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. When you make a payment, you are subject to Stripe's privacy policy in addition to ours. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
Creator payouts are made via Stripe Connect. By connecting your Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
6. Data Sharing
We share your data only with:
- Stripe — to process payments and creator payouts
- Plausible — anonymised, aggregated analytics only
- Legal authorities — if required by law
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial reasons (e.g. transaction records, which we retain for 7 years as required by Portuguese law).
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the EU or UK, you have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to how we process your data
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Portugal, this is the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados).
9. Cookies
OffMatch does not use tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies for session management (e.g. keeping you logged in). No consent is required for these.
10. Children
OffMatch is not intended for users under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not register or use the platform. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will delete their account.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform. Your continued use of OffMatch after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
